Higuita has now, though, made a surprising promise ahead of the Copa America.
“If Colombia don’t finish as champions then I’ll cut my hair,” he said ahead of the competition.
He’s definitely confident about his country’s chances in Brazil, maybe a little bit over confident although Colombia have been getting good results as if recent, losing only once since September 2018 to Korea Republic in a friendly (2-1).
Its a squad that is blessed with a whole lot of players with international experience and they’re definitely the dark horses of the tournament.
