The 2019 Copa America would be hosted in Brazil starting from the 14th of June to 7th of July 2019. It will be the 46th edition.
The first edition of our teams to look out for is Brazil.
Aside the fact that they are the hosts of the competition and would not like to lose in front of their people like in 2014, every country out there would love to have a basket of talents like Brazil does. Although they are going into the tournament without their star player Neymar as well as Barcelona midfielder Arthur being a doubt, they have a lot of talented players that can replace them.
Brazil has abundance of talents in each position. Their goalkeepers Alisson and Ederson were arguably the best in the EPL last season as they were fantastic for their respective clubs.
In defense they have experienced players like Thiago Silva,Miranda,Filipe Luis and Alex Sandro.
The little magician Phillipe Coutinho is most likely going to play in midfield as he functions better and creates more chances when playing in midfield. Other players like Lucas Paqueta,Allan and Arthur if fit can also step up to the central midfield duties. Casemiro and Fernadinho would handle the Defensive midfield.
Neymar injured his ankle in their friendly against Qatar and would hence miss the tournament. Willian,Richarlison, David Neres,Roberto Firmino and Gabriel Jesus would handle attacking duties.
Its a balanced squad and after regrettable performances in their previous tournaments, they’re definitely favourites to win the competition.
