Real Madrid have finally unveiled Eden Hazard as their latest galactico. Eden Hazard expressed his joy of achieving his childhood dream of being a Real Madrid player.
“Thank you so much president, thank you so much to my family,
“I’m really excited to start playing for Madrid in the next month and win lots of trophies.
“It was my dream to play for Madrid since I was a kid, thank you all”. Hazard said.
“Everything began last year after the World Cup but I continued one year more and I think that worked out well both on a personal level and for the club because we won the Europa League.”
“I never doubted that I would end up playing for Real Madrid. I will try to become the best player in the world. But before that I will try to make Madrid the best team in the world.”
He also expressed his childhood admiration for present coach Zinadene Zidane.
“I used to play with my brothers in the garden in a Madrid shirt, he said.
Zidane was my hero since I was a kid. Him being here was an important factor but I already wanted to play here.”
Hazard operates primarily in the left wing but can also function well as an attacking midfielder.
The 28 year old attracted a crowd of 50000 fans. Only Cristiano Ronaldo (80000) and Ricardo Kaka (55000) have attracted more.
