The transfer window is open and several clubs are looking for different reinforcements. Here’s a summary of various transfer news from around Europe.

Jamez Rodriguez

The midfielder requested that his loan deal from Real Madrid to Bayern Munich should not be renewed and is bound to return to his former club. However Zidane doesn’t have any plans for him as he as always preferred Isco.

A move to Juventus to plat with Cristiano Ronaldo or Napoli due to a reunion with his “Dad” Carlo Accelotti is likely.

Christian Eriksen

The Dane said last week that he was open to trying something new and Madrid have supposedly gotten the message. Eriksen plays as a Central or Attacking midfielder and would definitely fit into Madrid. However the club already have a lot of players in this position such as Modric,Kroos,Ceballos,Isco and may have to sell in order to create space for Eriksen.

Giovanni Lo Celso

The Argentine just left PSG to Real betis about a year ago but had a spectacular season and Tottenham are keeping tabs on him. A move is likely given that Spurs are in need of a deep lying creative midfielder.

Phillipe Coutinho

The Brazilian had a very disapointing season at Barcelona and failed to live up to his transfer fee. Given Chelsea lost their star player Eden Hazard, a move for Coutinho was likely possible as a replacement. However due to their recent transfer ban, the move might possibly stall till next summer.

Coutinho though has said he wishes to stay and win more trophies at Barcelona which makes it more difficult for the deal to happen.

Neymar

Neymar! Neymar!! Neymar!!!. Since his departure from Barcelona, he’s always on the headlines. Its either his transfer news or injury update or rape case as of recent.

The Samba master wants to leave PSG ,the golden prison and favors a return to his former club Barcelona, although Madrid are keeping tabs of the situation in France and are ready to splash the cash if necessary.

Both moves seem unlikely though as Barcelona find it difficult negotiating with PSG due to their cold war. PSG spent a lot to acquire the services of Neymar and wouldn’t not let him go easily. And with Madrid signing Hazard as well as Antoine Griezmann being linked with Barcelona, Neymar is most likely going to stay in Paris.

Antoine Griezmann

The Frenchman has told Atletico Madrid of his desires to leave the club in search of a new challenge.

A move to Barcelona is as good as done as the CEO of Atletico Madrid, Miguel Ángel Gil Marín, calmly revealed that Antoine Griezmann will be playing at the Camp Nou next season.
When asked about the French forward’s future club, Gil Marin said: “I know exactly where he’s going to play. I’ve known since March. At Barcelona” .
