Cristiano Ronaldo took out some time to appreciate the fans for their support in what he described as an unforgettable season.
The Portuguese star player swapped from Real Madrid to Juventus last summer for €110million and won the Serie A and Italian Supercup in his first season. He also went on to win the inaugural edition of the UEFA Nations league with Portugal.
Ronaldo expressed his joy on his Instagram account and thanks the fans ans surprisingly listed his personal achievements this season.
However, fans had divided opinions on his idea of listing out his personal achievements. Some viewed it as a means to nominate himself for the 2019,Balon dor given his eternal rival Lionel Messi is considered the favourite as well as Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk. However some others saw it as being proud of his success and achievements which is not wrong.
Its fair to say that the world is divided into two.
Messi fans and Ronaldo fans. You can respect both but you can’t love them equally.

If i can see where another very high profile player has listed out all of his achievements in a season on social media, both now or in the past, i would really appreciate it..
the thing is ronaldo fans know what he is doing but they are not concerned, they want him to win the ballon d’or.
And I guess its the copa america that will be the decider of all this

Honestly.
Everything is in Messi’s hand right now. If he wins the Copa America, he’s definitely winning the balon dor.
