Liverpool loanee and current Reading midfielder, Ovie Ejaria has pledged his international future to the Super Eagles, although the move is pending clearance from FIFA, via reports from All Nigeria Soccer.

The talented central attacking midfielder had his previous spells onΒ the international stage with England U 21s and U20s although he trained with the Nigerian U17 side in 2013.
“Yes he has agreed to play for Nigeria. His documents have been sent to FIFA since”, the president of the Nigerian Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick told ESPN.
Ejaria becomes the latest member of the convocation of players who were born and raised outside Nigeria but will don the colours of the Super Eagles at the senior international level.
The NFF are also working on the possibility of Arsenal talent Bulayo Saka switching allegiances also. But what can be said is that with the likes of Victor Osimhen, Joel Aribo, Samuel Chukwueze, Alex Iwobi etc, the Super Eagles are blessed with several sources of raw talent we have at our disposal. With proper management, we might find ourselves hitting greater heights.
